Vanetsyan Would Make a Better Prime Minister than Pashinyan, Says Ashotyan
“From the wiretapping, I understood that the head of the National Security Service has a much more state-centric approach and would make a better Prime Minister than Nikol Pashinyan,” stated Armenian Revolutionary Federation Vice President and parliamentary candidate Armen Ashotyan during a conversation with journalists, referring to the publication of the second part of the wiretapped recording yesterday.
Ashotyan noted that this recording deprived the current authorities of their narrative that there is no political corruption in Armenia and that the courts are independent.
“The saddest part is that the person who has taken on the leadership of the country, ignoring Armenia’s internal and external challenges, has taken a vacation and is no longer addressing the issues of state governance. This means that political power will be in the hands of a political group that prefers its own narrow political interests over the state’s interests,” said Armen Ashotyan.
