Vahram Baghdasaryan Not Invited to Opening of Kindergarten Built with His Support

The campaign headquarters of Vahram Baghdasaryan, a candidate for the Republican Party, has released a statement regarding the inauguration of kindergarten number 11 in Vanadzor.

“Today, on December 6, the opening of kindergarten number 11 will take place in Vanadzor. Approximately 158 million AMD has been allocated for the construction works of the kindergarten, funded by a loan from the World Bank. This initiative has been included in the projects of the Territorial Development Fund.

The construction of the kindergarten was implemented with the direct support and mediation of Vahram Baghdasaryan, a member of the National Assembly of Armenia.

It is noteworthy that the official part of the kindergarten's opening will be attended by the acting minister of territorial administration and development, Suren Papikyan, who is also a candidate for the parliamentary elections in Lori Province under the “My Step” alliance. In contrast, Vahram Baghdasaryan, whose efforts made the construction of the kindergarten possible, is not even on the guest list.

Will there come a day when Vahram Baghdasaryan will cut the ribbon for an institution built with the support of Suren Papikyan instead? After all, the circumstances have already changed.

Additionally, it should be noted that under Vahram Baghdasaryan's support and efforts, school number 18 in Vanadzor is still undergoing renovation, with a total cost estimate of 1 billion 150 million AMD, of which 807 million AMD has already been allocated (100 million in 2014, 500 million in 2015, 150 million in 2016, and 57 million in 2017). As a result, 3 out of the school’s 5 buildings have been fully renovated.
