Should Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Be Held Accountable?

A number of American senators are calling for accountability from Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in connection with the murder of Saudi opposition journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

They have already introduced a corresponding resolution in the Senate, authored by representatives from both the Democratic and Republican parties. If the document is adopted, it will not have the force of law but will merely express the Senate's position on the matter.

Earlier, American senators stated that the mastermind behind The Washington Post columnist's murder was none other than Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
