Woman Dies After Being Thrown Out of Car During Argument

On May 21, around 22:40, the National Police received a call to the 112 operational management center reporting that a woman had died as a result of being hit by a vehicle on the Sevan-Zaplatagh road, in the territory of the Tsovagyugh community.

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Gegharkunik Regional Police and the Community Police Department of Sevan, along with regional patrol officers, arrived at the scene. They established that a 21-year-old resident of Yerevan had been driving a 'Mercedes' vehicle towards Sevan when he got into an argument regarding domestic issues with a woman named Marianna B. During the altercation, the woman was thrown out of the vehicle and subsequently died.

The 21-year-old resident of Yerevan has been arrested and has been presented to the investigative body along with the prepared documentation.
