Zakharova's Tough Message to Pashinyan: Moscow Considers This a Trend
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has commented on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's absence from events of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). According to the Russian side's statement, this phenomenon is already deemed systematic.
Zakharova noted that the absence of the Armenian Prime Minister will not affect the work of the integration structure. "This is becoming a system that, as we understand, has been created by Nikol Pashinyan in this direction," Zakharova said.
It is recalled that Pashinyan announced he would not participate in the EAEU summit scheduled for May 28-29. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan will represent Armenia. Nevertheless, the Russian side does not foresee any risks or negative consequences for the normal functioning of the structure.
