Video: A Fraudulent Employee Promising Driver's Licenses Arrested

The community police officers of the Erebuni division received operational information about a man who, presenting himself as an employee of Yerevan's Registration and Examination Division, was offering to provide driver's licenses while deceitfully taking money from various individuals by exploiting their trust.

Similar reports of fraud had also been received on March 20, May 14, and May 20.

According to the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the identity of the aforementioned individual was revealed through operational-investigative measures taken by the community police.

On May 20, in the area of the Registration and Examination Division of Yerevan, a 54-year-old man was located, arrested, and taken to the Erebuni division, after which he was presented to the investigative body with the prepared documents.

The police remind that a driver's license can only be obtained legally by successfully passing the theoretical and practical exams. Illegal activities will inevitably come to the attention of the police and will be evaluated legally.
