Tevanian Illegally Collected Information Containing State Secrets: New Details

As previously reported, the Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case against Andranik Tevanian on charges of state treason and espionage. Tevanian has claimed that he was not a deputy during the specified period.

The press secretary of the Investigative Committee, Kima Avdalyan, responded to Tevanian's statement, writing: “Andranik Tevanian states that he resigned from his mandate in 2023. We are already aware of that. If you read the announcement carefully, you will see the word ILLEGAL. This means that the individual unlawfully collected information containing state secrets during 2024. This circumstance is also a subject of investigation.”
