Shock Message from Tbilisi to Yerevan: What Developments are Expected
The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, has stated that the attempts by external forces and certain local circles to undermine relations with Armenia have failed. He made this statement in an interview with Georgian TV channel Imedi.
According to the Prime Minister, certain external sponsors and local actors are intentionally trying to set the two neighboring countries against each other. To achieve this, Garibashvili noted, various artificial comparisons are often used, but all these efforts have yielded no results.
Referring to the statement of a European official who claimed that Armenia is the "shortest route connecting Central Asia to Europe," the Georgian government leader expressed skepticism. He added that European bureaucrats making such assessments apparently do not have a good grasp of geography.
