Azerbaijan Responds to Samvel Karapetyan

The statement made by Samvel Karapetyan, the candidate for Prime Minister from the "Strong Armenia" alliance, has caught the attention of Azerbaijani media. The response from Azerbaijan has been quite harsh, with local media noting that an official reaction will not be delayed.

"The Armenian opposition promises to prevent Azerbaijanis from purchasing land. If Samvel Karapetyan comes to power, a legislative ban will be imposed in Armenia on Azerbaijani citizens acquiring land and other real estate. According to him, the legal regulations being developed will include not only sales transactions but will also prohibit the transfer of any property as a gift to Azerbaijanis within the territory of Armenia. An official response from Azerbaijan will not be delayed," the article states.

It should be recalled that Samvel Karapetyan stated, "300,000 Azerbaijanis are already preparing to invade Armenia by buying land and houses. They know that villages, schools, and kindergartens are being vacated for them. Our country is in serious danger."
