U.S. Army Prepares for New Mission: Country Begins Active Military Readiness

The United States does not plan to reduce the number of its troops stationed in Poland. This became known following a phone conversation between the heads of the defense ministries of the two countries, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Pete Hegseth. According to Poland's Defense Minister, the American side has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the security of its ally.

Currently, the Pentagon is busy reorganizing its land forces and military resources in the European region. Washington is developing a new concept for the deployment of units in Europe; however, according to official sources, this process does not involve a reduction in the number of military personnel in Poland.

Previously, several media outlets focused on military themes had circulated information that the U.S. had abandoned plans to send an additional 4,000 troops to Poland. At this time, approximately 10,000 representatives of the United States Armed Forces are serving in Poland on a permanent and rotational basis.
