CEC Issues Cautionary Statement
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has addressed political parties and alliances participating in the elections. In accordance with Article 25 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Higher Education and Science, political, party, and religious activities and propaganda are prohibited in universities and scientific organizations. This includes the use of financial, informational, material resources, premises, symbols, and human resources of the institution for the purpose of conducting political, party, or religious activities or propaganda. Additionally, it is prohibited to act on behalf of universities or scientific organizations while conducting political, party, or religious propaganda or activities.
The CEC calls for adherence to the regulations stemming from Armenia's legislation while conducting electoral campaigning.
