Washington Talks About Agreement but Holds the War Card

US Vice President Jay D. Vance expressed confidence that the Iranian government wants to reach an agreement with the American side. “I believe the Iranians want to come to an agreement. But I will not say with any confidence that we will reach an agreement until we actually sign a negotiation agreement here,” he said during a press briefing at the White House.

Washington does not want enriched uranium to be transferred from Iran to Russia. This is not the current plan of the United States, Vice President Vance stated.

He also noted that negotiations with Iran are in a good phase, but a military option is also possible, although the US does not desire that.
