Are You Not Beating in the Toilet, Adalzhanyi? – Aram Kocharyan

“Are you not beating in the toilet, Adalzhanyi?” questioned Aram Kocharyan, a member of the “I Am Against Everyone” party, in response to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other representatives of the ruling Civil Contract party's comments that currently, citizens with opposition views express their opinions freely, while previously people were beaten to death in toilets for doing so.

Kocharyan emphasized that the citizens of Armenia have already given their political assessment of the political forces that acted this way in the past and will also assess them in this instance.

“Just as other political forces ended up in the political dump for such behavior, you will also end up in the same dump. Stop talking in an Adalzhanyi manner; the people will also give you that political assessment for Arthur Osipyan. Are you treating citizens like Adalzhanyi to be satisfied that you are not beating us in the toilet?” he stated, urging the authorities that if it happens that one of them engages in a political debate, they should beat him in the toilet but not treat him like Adalzhanyi.
