Individual Arrested for Committing Violent Sexual Acts Against a Minor

The Investigation Committee of the Republic of Armenia has reported that during the preliminary investigation of a criminal case initiated in the Lori regional investigation department, sufficient evidence has been obtained regarding M.P., who allegedly visited the residence of a minor and, taking advantage of the fact that the minor was home alone, committed violent sexual acts against them.

M.P. has been subjected to public criminal prosecution under the second part of Article 198 of the Criminal Code (violent sexual acts against a minor). He has been arrested. The criminal case has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with an accusatory conclusion.
