US Welcomes Launch of Direct Trade Between Armenia and Turkey

The US Embassy in Armenia has issued a statement:    "The United States welcomes the announcement regarding the lifting of bilateral trade restrictions between Armenia and Turkey. This step demonstrates both countries' commitment to expanding economic ties and promoting lasting peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus region. The ongoing efforts of Armenia and Turkey to strengthen cooperation for the benefit of the region's people deserve commendation."
