Russia Continues Strikes on Ukraine: Explosions Reported

Russia continues to strike several cities in Ukraine using missiles and drones. Explosions have been heard in the city. Preliminary reports indicate that there are casualties and injuries.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence warned that Russian forces were likely planning a combined assault and could launch a large-scale missile strike. The Main Intelligence Directorate stated that during the first wave of attacks, Russian troops are expected to deploy 'a significant number of strike drones to overload Ukraine's air defense systems and destroy civilian infrastructure.'

During the second wave, they may use 'a large number of air- and sea-launched cruise missiles, as well as ballistic missiles.' According to intelligence, the targets would include critical infrastructure in major cities, including energy facilities, military-industrial complex enterprises, and government buildings.
