Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that he has no concerns regarding potential actions by the Russian military base under the pretext of protecting its own citizens. During a briefings with reporters, the head of the government emphasized that there are no grounds for such fears.
According to him, regardless of the laws in effect in Russia, the 102nd military base is required to operate within the framework of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia and is under the jurisdiction of the country.
“No, there are no concerns, because the military base, regardless of what laws are in effect in Russia, must operate within the Armenian legal framework and under Armenian jurisdiction,” Pashinyan stated.
