Former Head of Zelensky's Office Detained

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has imposed a two-month detention on Andriy Yermak, the former head of the President's Office, as part of an investigation into money laundering through elite construction projects near Kyiv. A bail amount of 140 million hryvnias (approximately $3.2 million) has also been set for him.

If the bail is paid, Yermak is obliged not to leave Kyiv, surrender his foreign passports, and refrain from contacting several individuals involved in the case, including Timur Mindich, former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov, and the fortune teller Veronika Anikeyeva.

The court has chosen pre-trial detention as a preventative measure for a duration of 60 days.

It should be noted that Yermak has officially been charged in connection with corruption-related offenses. He has declined to comment on the corruption allegations.
