Economy Ministry Appeals to Businessmen: New Opportunities Opened

The Economy Ministry has addressed businessmen:

"As of May 11, 2026, direct trade between Armenia and Turkey has commenced. As a result, a possibility has been created for direct goods circulation between the two countries, which will significantly reduce costs and delivery times and expand new markets and cooperation opportunities for businesses.

At the same time, in cases of transportation through third countries, the country of origin or final destination of the goods can also be officially stated as 'Armenia' or 'Turkey'. For any inquiries, please call 011597211," the statement reads.

As previously reported, direct trade between Armenia and Turkey has become possible from a customs standpoint, without re-exportation.
