Vedi Incident Revealed by Law Enforcement: Nikol Pashinyan

Nikol Pashinyan announced during a press briefing today that the scandalous incident in Vedi has been uncovered based on alerts from operational bodies.

In response to a question regarding why a criminal process was initiated only after media coverage of the incident that occurred three months ago, Pashinyan countered that it was precisely the law enforcement agencies that revealed the case and are conducting the investigation.

According to him, journalists received and published information directly from law enforcement sources.

The Prime Minister stated that he is aware of specific journalists who have sources within the law enforcement system and obtain working data from them. Pashinyan added that criminal cases have been initiated in this regard, and irresponsible law enforcement officials will be identified and removed from the system. He also mentioned that some employees have already been dismissed from their positions concerning similar cases.
