Armenian Authorities Attempting to Sit on Two Chairs, Ushakov Says

Russian Presidential Assistant Yuri Ushakov has announced that the Armenian authorities are trying to pursue a policy of sitting on "two chairs." He stated that he does not know how long it is feasible to maintain such a position but emphasized that it harms the development of bilateral relations, which are beneficial for both Russia and Armenia.

According to Ushakov, the relationship with Russia is even more advantageous for Yerevan than for Moscow. He highlighted that the favorable situation regarding Armenia's economic development is, in many respects, conditioned by the successful evolution of relations between the countries, especially in cooperation within the EEU framework.

Ushakov also reminded that recently in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held serious negotiations. "During those negotiations, answers were provided to all questions," he added.

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled to Moscow on April 1.
