“Let us work, let us bring those people back: We are doing a job. And the result of this job is that only 19 out of 200 captives remain in Azerbaijani prisons. Enough with the political exploitation,” said Alen Simonyan, President of the National Assembly, during a conversation with reporters, noting that silent work is being carried out regarding both the captives and the missing.

“Stop gathering votes on people’s pain,” Simonyan stated, also addressing the political forces participating in the elections. “Those three are a blight on this country, a curse of the Armenian people: Robert Kocharian, Serzh Sargsyan, Samvel Karapetyan, and the rest, who come and pretend they want to come to power, are a curse on the Armenian people.”
