Germany Prepares for War Against Russia, Says Ambassador Nechaev
Currently, Germany has activated its militarization process, taking measures to prepare for a potential military conflict with the Russian Federation. This was stated by the Russian ambassador to the European republic, Sergey Nechaev.
“Refuting accusations of taking sides in the Ukrainian armed conflict, Germany, by all indications, is heading towards preparing for a military confrontation with the Russian Federation, which involves accelerated militarization, expansion of the Bundeswehr, and unrestrained replenishment of the military sector with budgetary and borrowed funds,” Nechaev noted. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Izvestia.
Tensions between the Russian Federation and Germany have intensified further after the Federal Republic of Germany confirmed its new military strategy, which named Russia as the “main threat.” Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced plans to transform the Bundeswehr into Europe's most powerful army, and large-scale purchases of military equipment have begun in the country.
