Video: Ceremony Welcoming Charles Michel and Ursula von der Leyen at the Presidential Office

As part of the Armenia-EU inaugural summit, a formal ceremony was held at the Presidential Office to welcome Charles Michel, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.

Today marks the first occurrence of the Armenia-European Union inaugural summit. The EU is represented by President of the European Council Charles Michel, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and the EU's High Representative, Kaia Kallas. The Armenian side is led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The main topics of the Armenia-EU summit include:

• Deepening bilateral relations and visa liberalization.
• Cooperation in the fields of energy, transportation, and digital sectors.
• Ensuring peace and security in the South Caucasus.

At the conclusion of the summit, a joint statement will be issued, and a series of signed documents will be exchanged, which are significant for deepening EU-Armenia partnership.
