Details about New Biometric Passports

The new biometric passports feature high security and the application of leading international practices. A delegation headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs visited the Netherlands. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

From April 29 to May 1, a delegation led by Minister Arpine Sahakyan was on a working visit in Haarlem, Netherlands, where new biometric passports for citizens of Armenia will be printed at one of the production facilities of the French company 'IN Groupe'.

The design of the passport cover, pages, including the polycarbonate data page and visa pages, were presented, and discussions were held regarding the preliminary layout, color selection, and integration of sketches while considering all security components.
