Video: Strategic Partnership Declaration Signed between Armenia and Bulgaria
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, hosted the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliyana Yotova, at the Government. The Prime Minister welcomed Iliyana Yotova and her delegation’s visit to Armenia for the 8th summit of the European Political Community.
Pashinyan congratulated Ms. Yotova on her assumption of the presidency of Bulgaria and wished her success. He noted that the relations between the two countries are at a high level of political dialogue, and today they will be formalized with the signing of a document reflecting their strategic nature.
The country’s leader emphasized that bilateral relations between Armenia and Bulgaria have great potential. Nikol Pashinyan also expressed gratitude to Bulgaria for its support to Armenia within the framework of the European Union.
Iliyana Yotova thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome and for hosting the European Political Community summit. The President of Bulgaria highlighted that the summit has achieved tangible results since its inception.
Yotova also congratulated the Armenian Prime Minister on the upcoming EU-Armenia summit.
The interlocutors discussed agenda items regarding the further development of Armenia-Bulgaria relations and addressed various regionally significant topics.
As a result of the meeting, Nikol Pashinyan and Iliyana Yotova signed a joint declaration on the strategic partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Bulgaria.
