“This government has an army of ‘killers’ of speech. Those called ‘killers’ are not just ordinary fakers and commenters; they belong to another category. They are the ‘elite’ of this government, who are few in number, probably around 10-20 people, but like a very smart, obedient army, they carry out the orders coming from above,” said Armine Ohanyan, the editor-in-chief of the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper, during a conference organized by the Union of Journalists of Armenia.

“I want to emphasize one person in particular - Ruben Rubinyan, he is a very original guy,” Ohanyan noted, adding that the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly periodically inquires about who finances the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper. “I wrote to him and said, come to the editorial office, if you need more details, we can provide them. After all, on all of our websites, the list of our advertisers is visible. And now I also want to congratulate Ruben Rubinyan for being able to say that the ‘Civil Contract’ party finances the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper, because our most expensive, largest advertiser today is the ‘Civil Contract’ party. And this year, our financial security is ensured by this government. I specifically signed that contract at the highest price, and they agreed. So, we can calmly say: Ruben Rubinyan, you are financing the ‘Hraparak’ newspaper,” Ohanyan stated.
