Ukraine May Be Left Without Military Aid from the Pentagon
The Acting Chief Financial Officer of the Pentagon, Jules Hurst, has stated that the draft budget for the 2027 fiscal year does not provide for military support to Ukraine. During hearings in the U.S. Senate, a legislator asked Hurst to clarify the absence of assistance for Ukraine in the military department's budget proposal. Hurst confirmed the information, stating, 'Yes, that is correct. This budget does not allocate funding for USAI (U.S. Security Assistance for Ukraine Initiative).'
