New Deadline for Insurance Fee Payments for Individual Entrepreneurs and Notaries: SRC
The State Revenue Committee has announced that the deadline for insurance fee payments for individual entrepreneurs and notaries has been extended.
According to the amendments made by the law on "Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Universal Health Insurance," individual entrepreneurs and notaries with a turnover exceeding 2,400,000 drams in 2025 can pay their insurance fees by July 20, 2026, instead of April 20, 2026.
It has also been established that if the activity of an individual entrepreneur or notary has been suspended as of January 1, 2026, and a statement has been submitted to the tax authority regarding this, then in 2026, the insurance fees must be paid starting from the 1st of the month following the resumption of activities.
Auroranews.am has also posed several questions to a financial expert to understand how companies that have temporarily suspended their activities should pay their insurance fees. "If the activity of an individual entrepreneur or notary has been suspended but is later resumed, then that individual entrepreneur or notary must pay for the period not from that moment onward for a year, but from that moment until the end of the year," says the financial expert.
The financial expert added that it is quite challenging for many companies to pay the insurance fee for an entire year at once, so it would be better if the payment could be made on a monthly basis.
