Iran to Play in the USA, Says FIFA President

Iran's national team will participate in the 2026 World Cup, with their matches taking place in the USA, announced FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The FIFA Congress is taking place this Thursday in Vancouver, Canada. "I want to confirm that Iran will participate in the 2026 World Cup, and of course, Iran will be playing in the USA. We must unite and bring people together. And that is our responsibility and yours," Infantino stated.
