Trump Believes in Peace Deal Implementation, Says Hegseth

The Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, has announced that U.S. President Donald Trump is committed to the idea of reaching an agreement to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. During hearings held in a House committee, Hegseth stated that President Trump is convinced of the necessity for a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.

“Ultimately, President Trump believes there should be a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine,” said Hegseth. The head of the agency also emphasized that Joe Biden's previous administration was providing Kyiv with "uncontrollable billions of dollars."
