Unexpected Statement from the U.S. Regarding Iran
Former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis has stated that Washington should agree to the terms proposed by Tehran. In a post on social media, Davis noted that the only possible way to achieve success under the current circumstances is by agreeing to the best terms acceptable to Iran and feasible for the United States through negotiations.
According to the expert, this approach would help put an end to the financial difficulties exacerbated by the decision to initiate war made in February. “All we can do at this moment, and what has at least some chance of success, is to accept the best terms available to us through negotiations and acceptable to Tehran, and to just get through to the next day to end the financial suffering we have caused ourselves, which continues to worsen day by day due to the foolish decision to start a war in February that we failed to finish,” he wrote.
Davis believes that the naval blockade against Iran is ineffective and only causes significant damage to the United States itself. He emphasized that the terms proposed by Tehran are the best among possible options.
“We are definitely in a worse situation,” Davis concluded.
