A tiramisu measuring 440.6 meters in length, made in London, has surpassed the previous record set in Milan. A team of 100 Italian chefs prepared the dessert over two days, in accordance with the requirements of the Guinness World Records.
According to the rules of the International Guide to World Achievements, the dish had to be assembled on-site under expert supervision. More than 3,000 eggs and approximately 50,000 savoiardi biscuits were used in the preparation.
The organizers highlighted the symbolic significance of the event, noting that the dessert was decorated with an image of a golden crown and dedicated to the King of the United Kingdom and the royal family. The project's creator, Mirko Richichi, who also set a similar record back in 2017, stated that carrying out this initiative in Great Britain was a gesture of gratitude to the country.
