How Many Candidates Have Registered for the Parliamentary Elections

According to reports, a total of 19 political forces, comprising 17 parties and 2 alliances, have submitted their candidacy for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7. Radar Armenia has learned that 2,190 candidates have been proposed in the first part of the electoral lists, while 21 candidates are registered in the second part.

It should be noted that the lists are divided into two parts. The first part includes the main representatives, while the second part comprises representatives of national minorities.

The Central Electoral Commission has received the following nomination documents:

  1. “Civil Contract” Party: 283 candidates in the first part, 10 candidates in the second part.
  2. “Prosperous Armenia” Party: 104 candidates in the first part, 3 candidates in the second part.
  3. Christian Democratic Party: 82 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  4. “Armenia” Alliance (Armenian Revolutionary Federation Party, “Dashink” right-wing party): 213 candidates in the first part, 4 candidates in the second part.
  5. “I Am Against Everyone” Democratic Party: 87 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  6. “Enlightened Armenia” Party: 89 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  7. “National Democratic Axis” Pan-Armenian Party: 101 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  8. “Democratic Union” Party: 82 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  9. “Republic of Armenia” Party: 84 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  10. “Republic” Party: 91 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  11. “Strong Armenia” Alliance: 199 candidates in the first part, 3 in the second part.
  12. “New Force” Reformist Party: 86 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  13. “Kochari National Renaissance and Awakening” Party: 88 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  14. Reformist Party: 83 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  15. “Wings of Unity” Party: 80 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  16. “Armenian National Congress” Party: 99 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  17. “Alliance” Progressive Centrist Party: 83 candidates in the first part, 1 in the second part.
  18. “For the Defense of Democracy of the Republic” Alliance: 80 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
  19. “Democracy, Law, Discipline” Party: 93 candidates in the first part, 0 in the second part.
