Abbas Araqchi Arrives in Saint Petersburg

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Abbas Araqchi, has arrived in Saint Petersburg, where he is expected to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by IRNA.

Earlier, Iran's Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, announced that Araqchi would visit Saint Petersburg. The diplomat noted that the purpose of the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit is to "promote Iran's interests in combating external threats."
