Video: Hayk Marutyan Responds to Nikol Pashinyan

Former Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan has responded to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that former city mayors and community leaders of Gyumri have acted either overtly or covertly against the government, instead of benefiting from government programs and using the funds provided appropriately.

“Mr. Pashinyan, when you say ‘former mayor,’ whom do you mean? Because I want to remind you that there was another mayor before this current one, you may have forgotten. However, if you mean me, you know my first name and last name; you can give it, there’s nothing criminal about it.

Now let’s talk about potholes... You probably also don’t know that thousands of potholes appear in Yerevan every year, and the city hall fills those thousands of potholes every year. This is called pothole filling. During our time, that pothole filling was done, which is why there were no potholes. Now that pothole filling is not being done, that’s why there are potholes,” Marutyan stated in the video message.
