We Have Been Declared an Open War: Lavrov

The Western countries, through their support for Ukraine, have declared war on Russia; however, the Kyiv regime is helpless without material supplies of Western weapons. This statement was made by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting with representatives of Russian non-commercial organizations.

“We have been declared an open war. For this purpose, the Kyiv regime is being used as a 'spearhead.' But the fact that this 'spearhead' is helpless without material supplies of Western weapons, intelligence data, satellite systems, support in training soldiers, and many other things is known to everyone. The Kyiv regime and the Ukrainian state are clearly used as a geopolitical tool,” stated Lavrov.

He also mentioned that the West, primarily Brussels, openly talks about preparing for war against Russia in the foreseeable future. “The Chief of Staff of Belgium, Frédéric Vansi, has said that they still have a few years, and the Ukrainians are buying this time for them. The same logic was present in the German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz's statement, when he referred to the Israeli attack on Iran and everything Israel does as... he simply said that the Israelis perform the dirty work for them, fighting against Hamas, Hezbollah, and other organizations they label as terrorist, completely disregarding their historical emergence. This is directly related to the categorical rejection of the UN's decision to create a Palestinian state,” added the minister.
