The US is Not a Reliable Ally, Macron

Everyone sees that the number one superpower, the United States, can be an ally to some countries, but this ally is not reliable, and no one can fully trust its reliability. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron.

“What we need to avoid is the urgency in implementing any strategy to sever economic ties with China, as the result will be an increase in our dependence on the US and the fact that the rest of the world will see us merely as vassals of the US, and that is not our future.”

“When the war in Ukraine began in February 2022, many were skeptical about our ability to respond. But in reality, what happened? Right on the first day we unanimously imposed sanctions against Russia. We are adopting the 20th package of sanctions, and the Russian economy is suffering from this. Do not believe the fake news—they are suffering,” said French President Emmanuel Macron.
