French Writer on Armenia's Role

In an interview with Swiss journalist Darius Roshben, French writer Sylvain Tesson discussed Armenia's role in the European historical and cultural context. The author remarked, 'If Armenia were to disappear, it could not be considered just another episode in a historical tragedy or merely another page in the history of the “concert of nations.” The matter is much deeper and more significant.'

According to Tesson, Armenia encompasses a European dimension. He emphasized that it represents a unique and almost borderline form of civilization located at the crossroads of various regions and cultures.
