Araghchin Issues Statement

The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchin, during a meeting with the Special Envoy of South Korea, emphasized that the main factor of instability in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz region is the "aggression" of the U.S. and Israel.

In his discussions with South Korean Special Envoy Chang Byung-hwa, Araghchin highlighted that the underlying cause of the prevailing instability in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf area is the "aggression" perpetrated by the U.S. and Israel. The minister assured that Iran's actions in protecting its own security are in accordance with international legal norms. He stated that the entire responsibility arising from the conflict falls upon the "aggressors."
