VIDEO: 'Oil Rains' Continue in Tuapse

In the Russian port city of Tuapse on the Black Sea coast, fires at oil facilities have resulted in severe repercussions that are expected to be felt for many years. Ukrainian drones struck Tuapse's oil infrastructure on April 16 and 20. The fire that erupted from the latest attack has still not been extinguished.

Local residents are advised to keep windows closed, limit time spent outdoors, use protective masks and respirators, and regularly carry out wet cleaning. Volunteers are urging residents to be attentive to stray animals. Local activists have reported to the 'Vot Tak' project that stray animals are showing signs of poisoning, such as respiratory issues and redness in their eyes, while their fur is coated in oil.
