We Have Transferred a List of Russian Interference Accounts to the U.S. Senate: Ioannisyan

The Civil Society Platform has compiled a list of Facebook and YouTube accounts that serve as tools for Russian interference in Armenia's elections and has submitted it to the U.S. Senate's Foreign Relations Committee, wrote Daniel Ioannisyan, the founder of the Civil Society Platform, on his Facebook page.

“Based on the list we compiled, Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Thom Tillis have sent letters to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Alphabet (Google) CEO Sundar Pichai, demanding that measures be taken to protect Armenia's elections from Russian interference. Naturally, the list does not include the real (non-fake) accounts of Armenian political parties and candidates,” Ioannisyan stated.

The Civil Society Platform expresses gratitude to Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen from New Hampshire and Republican Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina for their collaboration in countering Russian interference in Armenia's elections,” Ioannisyan wrote.
