Veolia Water Reports No Anomalies in Drinking Water in Byureghavan
Regarding the circulating information in the media about drinking water in the Byureghavan community, Veolia Water informs that since early this morning, the laboratory of Veolia Water LLC in Abovyan has conducted water sampling and laboratory tests from various addresses in Byureghavan city, as well as from Nurnus and Arzni villages, including the daily control water reservoir.
“At this time, the company has not discovered any deviations related to drinking water in Byureghavan. The chemical analyses performed, including residual chlorine measurements, have shown that they are within normal limits, and the disinfection work is being carried out appropriately by the company,” the company reported.
It is worth reminding that cases of intestinal infectious diseases have been recorded in the Byureghavan community, with a total of about 30 urgent reports received. Currently, 11 citizens have been hospitalized, and their health status is assessed as of moderate severity. This information was provided by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Before receiving the sampling results, the Byureghavan community administration and the director of the polyclinic had advised not to use the water or to boil it before use.
