They Have Exhausted Themselves: Statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry

The US and Europe have exhausted themselves not only morally but also materially, stated Marat Berdiev, Russia's Special Representative for G20 and Trade.

"Probably, no one needs to be convinced that they have exhausted themselves, and not only morally but also materially. This is understood even in their capitals, and for a long time they have bet on the destabilization of markets, institutions, and regulatory schemes," he said at the III International Scientific and Practical Conference titled "Eurasian Integration Metrics: Transport and Logistics, Energy and Food Security."

The diplomat emphasized that such a policy did not just emerge yesterday and has a long-term strategic nature. He added that it is based on the disagreement with the loss of global hegemony.
