Perfect Outrage: Zakharova Issues Statement

The official spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has stated that Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant is a peaceful object, and comparing it to concentration camps is unacceptable.

Zakharova noted that likening Bushehr to concentration camps or drawing similar parallels is absolutely intolerable and a perfect outrage. According to her, the employees of Rosatom at the plant operate with high professionalism, fully aware that they are working at a peaceful facility.

She emphasized that this plant, like other Rosatom projects, does not have 'dual-use or triple-use' capabilities and allows the region to develop its economy and industry in peaceful conditions by obtaining nuclear energy.

Zakharova also added that such comparisons distort concepts, misrepresent historical facts, and show disrespect towards the memory of all victims of World War II.
