Iran Denies Any Intention to Engage in Negotiations
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-linked news agency, "Tasnim," reported that Tehran has no plans to negotiate with the United States on Friday. This statement refutes a report by the "New York Post," which referenced President Donald Trump's announcement about a possible second round of negotiations in a few days.
Additionally, the Iranian state television and radio company, "IRIB," denied reports that Tehran had agreed to extend the ceasefire, which had been announced by the U.S. President the day before.
"Iran has yet to officially comment on the extension of the ceasefire in relation to Trump's announcement," noted "IRIB." The report also emphasized that news of reaching an official agreement with Iran is not true, and there have been no statements from Iranian officials on this matter.
