Not Arriving in Kyiv Would Be Disrespectful: Zelensky
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has commented on the potential visit of American negotiators Steve Biegun and Jared Kushner to Ukraine. In response to a journalist's question from ICTV, the president urged not to create a "special sensation" around the topic, as Ukrainian negotiators maintain contact with them.
Zelensky pointed out that such a visit is primarily necessary for the delegation itself, as he considers it disrespectful for them to travel to Moscow and not arrive in Kyiv. He added that although logistics in Ukraine are more complicated, people are still managing to come.
According to Zelensky, the country is focused on achieving results, and if the visit to Kyiv does not take place, meetings will be held in other countries. He also emphasized that the main problem remains Russia's lack of desire to end the war.
