Iran Presents Preconditions for Negotiations
Iranian parliament member Ahmad Naderi has stated that Tehran will not engage in negotiations with the United States until the American maritime blockade is lifted.
According to the representative of Iran's legislative body, Ahmad Naderi, Iran refuses to negotiate with the United States until the maritime blockade conducted by the U.S. is halted. Prior to this announcement, CNN reported that negotiations between Iran and the U.S. were scheduled to take place in Islamabad on April 22.
Iran's Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ataollah Tarar, noted that the Iranian side has yet to provide official confirmation regarding its participation in the new phase of negotiations. On the X social network, the minister wrote, 'Pakistan has made sincere efforts to persuade the Iranian leadership to participate in the second round of negotiations, and those efforts continue.'
