FFA Responds to Urartu's Statement

The General Secretary of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Edgar Petrosyan, has responded to the statement made by Urartu FC's General Director, David Shakhbagyan.

In response to Shakhbagyan's comments regarding the referee performance in the match between Urartu and Alashkert during the 22nd round of the Fastex Premier League, Petrosyan emphasized that FFA values the concerns raised by clubs. However, he stressed that such topics should be discussed in a professional and constructive manner.

The improvement of referee quality is always a priority for the FFA. All matches are subject to detailed analysis, and necessary steps are taken when warranted.

The FFA is guided solely by the principles of equality, impartiality, and fair competition. I invite representatives of Urartu to meet with our specialists at the FFA to discuss each controversial moment from the aforementioned match that may have raised doubts.

The FFA will continue its diligent work to ensure the transparency of the championship and a fair competitive environment. We understand that the battle for the championship is extremely intense at this stage of the league.
