Armenian Weightlifting Federation Appeals to Court to Acknowledge Tsarukyan's Mandate as Terminated
The Armenian Weightlifting Federation has filed a lawsuit requesting the court to acknowledge the termination of the powers of the former president of the Armenian National Olympic Committee (ANOC), Gagik Tsarukyan, and the members of the auditing committee, effective September 9, 2025. Following this, all decisions and actions taken by Gagik Tsarukyan in his capacity as ANOC president after September 9, 2025, are to be declared void.

“DECIDES: 1. To accept for proceedings the claim of the 'Armenian Weightlifting Federation' NGO against the 'Armenian National Olympic Committee' NGO regarding the acknowledgment of the termination of Gagik Tsarukyan's powers as ANOC president, and as a result, to declare void all decisions and actions made by him after September 9, 2025, and to acknowledge the termination of the powers of the auditing committee members, resulting in the annulment of all decisions and actions made by the auditing committee after September 9, 2025.” The decision will be sent to the participants in the case in accordance with the established procedure. The decision comes into legal force from the moment of its adoption and is not subject to appeal,” it is stated in Datalex.
